The Inequalities In The Workplace
It's all over the news now, the workplace is corrupted in such a way that the bosses operates it the way it will please them.
By so doing favouring themselves and other coworkers but discriminating against others.
There are many factors that contribute to that, and some of them are:
Men are paid more
In many companies, there are situations whereby men are paid more than women, even though they have similar qualifications and experience.
This contributes to unfair pay, as whatever they look to gauge their contribution, is not fair to the other party.
This also goes into racial discrimination and other factors which are sensitive and one may say they are filled with hate.
Abuse in the workplace
Some employees in the work are not treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.
Factors like their educational background can lead to this evil action.
It can be done by other coworkers, but also by the manager, not taking an employee serious hence treating them whichever way they please.
Men only team
Lack of diversification is another factor that exists in the world right now.
Speakers at conferences and some registered companies have only men employed, which may lead to more questions asked about that.
The PROBLEM and SOLUTION
By the nature of it, this leads to selfishness and may contribute to corruption.
There will not be teamwork as we know it as some employees feel like strangers.
On the other hand, women are unique and can create and run a successful business just like men.
An inclusive community and not discriminating will create a lively working environment for now and future generations and children will not have to learn the toxic ways of leadership.
If you are not happy about a coworker, abuse and discrimination is not the way, as you will affect their mental health in turn damage the reputation of the business.
Instead, you may ask them to retire, as it might be the only solution you may have at hand.
